This story was featured in a Christmas anthology,
but was originally to have appeared in a non-Christmas anthology.
Following, so far? It is a short, stand-alone portion of my
comic book series Elfin Romance -- or rather its
follow-up series The Silverdale Chronicles.
I first conceived this story about ten years ago.
It was nice to finally get to tell it.
